We're Back!

Here is a picture of Moma eating some yummy black beans and rice. She's starting to eat normal food now. I love it!
Well, we're back from our weekend trip. We went to the desert with our friends for Easter and had a nice time. There were 18 of us total in the house (including kids). We had an entire laundry basket filled with Easter eggs that the men hid for the kids to find. It was fun. There were 11 kids in all. MoMa slept through the whole hunt, but she wouldn't have cared about it any how. Next year should be better for her. We went to church while we were there and the crowd was huge (a lot of vacationers visiting the ward). They actually ran out of the water for the Sacrament and had to get more and bless it. There were people sitting up on the stand in the choir seats and in the overflow. I have never seen them have to get more water before so that was kind of interesting to me.
DaDi and I went to the movies one night while we were there and left Moma at the house with everyone else. We saw Blades of Glory and it was freaking hilarious. We were cracking up. We just had to go and support our fellow Mormon, John Heder. He's really funny in this one. Anyways, we got home yesterday afternoon and just hung out the rest of the day. Tonight, we're going to the Muse concert. We're super excited about it. My Dad heard them on the radio recently and has become a big fan so he wanted to take us to the concert with him since we like their music a lot as well. He went online and bought us tickets and so my sister is watching Moma for us tonight so we can go. It should be fun. I'm excited!
This week, we're preparing for Moma's 1st birthday. It's Hawaiian themed and we're looking forward to it. I'm ordering some leis online today and a craft for the kids to do during the party.
Oh, and Moma is getting her first molar. We have been so lucky with her. She has never had a hard time teething. I didn't even know that she was getting her molars until she bit my finger and i felt it back there. It's already popped through and it's sharp! this will be her 9th tooth!! She's going to be eating steak before we know it! The only thing that affects her when she is teething is her sleep. I hear about a lot of parents up with their kids at night during teething, but Moma actually sleeps more. She slept for 14 hours last night!! I couldn't believe it! She usually wakes up at 7:30 but woke up at 9:30. Which means that I got to sleep in and wake up at 9:30 as well. NICE!! It worked out pretty good since we are going to the concert and it will be a late night for us. well, that's about it. Just catching you up from the weekend. Hope everything is good in your neck of the woods!
