sunday, monday, happy days!

Sunday was a good day. we were almost in time for church which made me really happy. usually we're super late so we got there during the opening hymn so it's progress. next week, i will shoot to be in my seat before the opening hymn!! Dadi spent most of the time out in the foyer with moma since she could not sit still. even the snacks and toys i brought for her didn't do the trick. My lesson went well this week. it was on exaltation. I made a poster and had a lot of class participation which was nice. we also read a lot of the scriptures which i usually don't do, so i felt like i was doing a much better job than normal. it was funny because i felt like this lesson was going to be hard for me but it was actually easy. some lessons just come to me really easily and some don't. this one took a lot of studying from me and it paid off since i filled my time well with the lesson.
last night we went to our friends home for dinner and there were 4 couples there in all. it was fun and dinner was yummy though it forced me to go off my diet for the night since i couldn't say no to the yummy rolls and chocolate chip cookies. though i only had 2 cookies which was about 2 more than i should have but about 4 less than i wanted!! after that, we went over to dadi's aunt and uncles house. they are getting ready to go on a mission for our church. they are leaving their home for a year and a half to serve a mission. they leave in a few weeks. so we stopped by and visited for a little while. our cousins were there with their son and moma played with him until the end when she knocked him down and smacked his head on the table. it started out as cute because they were hugging each other goodbye, but they lost their balance and he took the brunt of it. poor little guy. he has a bruise on his head. i'm sure as they grow up together, he will get moma back.
today, i woke up and went to Disneyland. i met my cousin and her son (they same i just talked about) and i was totally late in meeting her there. i didn't really allow time for parking and the tram and the part when they check your bags. that put me in the park at about 9:30 when i should have been in there at 9:00. so we met in fantasy land and went on casey jrs train, dumbo, then we headed over to pirates and haunted mansion. we also went to the tiki room which i have never done. moma loved it. she danced and "sang" to the songs. it was cute. i can't wait to take her back to the tiki room with dadi so that he can see it. tonight, i went to the gym and met some friends from church there. i was very proud of myself because i did the elliptical machine for 35 minutes today. my goal was 30 so I'm super excited that i pushed myself that extra 5 minutes. i am working up to 40 minutes like the trainer said to do. hopefully tomorrow, I'll be able to do all 40, but we'll see. i also worked out my legs as well. I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I'm glad that i have a friend to go to the gym with. we're meeting there again tomorrow night. hopefully i can lose some weight and get back into shape!! that would be the greatest thing ever!
