Fun with foods

Here is the first picture of Moma from her "fun with foods" class she is taking. We are taking it through the city of Huntington beach and it is a class for 18 month- 3 year olds where they make art projects out of food. Yesterday was our first class and they had whipped cream and corn syrup mixed with food coloring and also chocolate pudding. She started out slowly by touching the blue whipped cream with her "paint brush" (q-tip) and then she would put it on the paper with my help. then she just started digging in all by herself and having a bunch of fun while eating the pudding and getting messy. she had blue whipped cream in her hair, on her face, on her hands up to her elbows, on her legs and feet and of course all over her clothes. we are taking the class with our friend and her son. he is about 4 months older than moma. even though she isn't 18 months old quite yet, i thought she was close enough.
oh, one of the little boys in the class slipped and fell face first into the plate of blue whipped cream. he had it all over his head and face. i was trying very hard to keep from peeing my pants in laughter. the mom was consoling him and wasn't laughing at all so it took everything in me to not bust up in front of her. i secretly wished that it had been moma that had fallen in there. instead of consoling her, i would have grabbed the camera, snapped a few awesome pictures and then consoled her and cleaned her up. this kid looked like he had been hit in the face with a cream pie. all you saw were these two little eyes in the midst of blue whipped cream. hysterical!
So i didn't bring my camera with me but i took this one with my cell phone so it's not the best quality. my friend took some with her camera so i will post those once she emails them to me. i will be sure to remember my camera for our next class.
i had some friends come over today too look at my jewelry. I'm selling it all at 50% off in order to make room for some new stuff. then this afternoon, i wasn't feeling very good. i have a bad headache and i feel like I'm getting a cold. dadi is sick and he has only been working half days the past couple of days and, my mom is getting sick to. so it looks like i am getting now. oh great! i hate being sick. okay, that's it for tonight. i just wanted to post something about moma's class. it was so much fun and i can't wait until next week!!
