Fun with Food

Here's some pictures for our fun with foods class today. We played with edible play-doh and moma wasn't too sure about it. She tried to eat it, but spit it out immediately. I guess it wasn't as tasty as the whipped cream finger painting class we did a few weeks ago. She poked around the play-doh a bit, but mostly wanted to play with the other kids. One thing about my kid is that she's one tall girl. The kids in the class range from 18 months to 3 years and moma is taller than a lot of them. She's only 17 months old but we put her in the class anyways.
We got to the class early and so we played at the park for a little while with some of the other kids while we waited. after the class, we went to the 99 cents store to get some things for dadi for his new office. he needed a cutting board and a knife and paper plates and stuff like that. i picked up some lunch and brought it to him as well. then we headed home for moma's nap time. during her nap, dadi came home and i got to leave and go to the gym. i haven't been for a little while since i have been sick lately. I wasn't able to do the cardio for as long as i would have liked because i started coughing a lot from my cold. I did manage to do 33 minutes which was still decent. usually i do at least 40 minutes. then, i worked out my abs and my legs, but some of the leg machines were being used and i was pooped and didn't want to wait for them so i left.
oh... today while i was at the 99 cent store, i bought a treat for dadi and myself. he ate his but i didn't eat mine yet and I'm not going to because i saw on the news that some guy found worms in his candy there. EEEEWWWW!! for those of you that don't know, worms are my phobia so now, i won't be able to eat anything at all from the 99 cent store no matter how good it looks or how fresh it seems. I will always have the memories of the worms i saw on the news in my head. YUCK!!!!!

Here is a picture of moma from our Disneyland trip earlier this week. she kind of looks mad though. maybe she was getting upset since it was taking too long to get in the park. who knows.

I don't think i have anything going on for the next couple of days which is nice because i really need to do get some laundry done and get my office cleaned up. I am getting a day bed from a friend and it's just in time for my in laws to come. that way we all have beds to sleep in and no one will be on an air mattress!! YEAH! they will be here in a week and a half and then a few days after that, we'll be off to Kauai!! wooooooo hooooo. we have spent our nights reading the Kauai guide book and figuring out all the places we will go. we've been there before but it was only a side trip for four days while we were staying on Oahu for 2 weeks with dadis' aunt and uncle. so we didn't get much relaxing in since we tried to get as in much activities during our trip as possible. i seriously can't wait to go. it's going to be awesome!!

I will definitely miss the kid though. that's going to be rough on me.
