Out of it

Sorry folks, we've been a little out of it this past week. Moma has been sick and i had to take her to the after hours clinic at my doctors office on Saturday. We had to wait forever, but there was a nice family next to me and we talked to pass the time. Anyways, moma has had a runny nose since we were in Utah and then she started getting a fever on Thursday. Usually the fever comes before the runny nose so the doctor was a little concerned that she was coming down with something else. he said that her ear looked a little irritated and her throat was red, so he gave her some antibiotics. Those have seemed to upset her stomach, so that has not been fun for us. The package said that it could cause an upset stomach but it would go away in a few days. I'm hoping it goes away. It's bad news. Yesterday we didn't go to church since everyone was feeling poopy. I don't know what my deal was yesterday, but i did not feel right. i took 2 naps and slept for 5 hours in all. then i went to bed last night at my normal time and slept all night through. i must have needed the sleep. i feel better today. i had a fever yesterday too. i haven't taken my "tempi" (as moma calls it) yet today. it's so funny.... i have had to take her temperature so much these past few days that she now will ask for it. this morning, i went to get her from her crib and she said "tempi, tempi" and pointed to the ear thermometer on her dresser. so i took it and then she said "other side" so i had to put it in her other ear. then i put it down on her dresser and she waved at it and said "bye bye tempi" i guess it's become her little buddy. does that tell you how much I've taken her temperature these past few days!! sheesh!
Anyways, we did do a couple of fun things this weekend. we made a ginger bread house on Friday night and that was fun. moma wanted to eat the candy though instead of putting it on the house. Then Saturday night, we went to get our Christmas tree. it's beautiful. i will post some pictures of it later on. my camera battery needs to be charged and then i will load them onto the computer and post them. okay, that's it for today. i have more to talk about, but I'm not in the mood and i have a lot of things to do. look out for more posts later in the week with fun pictures. k. bye
