ultrasound and haircut

Okay so this weekend was pretty nice even though i wasn't feeling all that great. first off, Friday night my mom wanted to watch moma for the evening and have a sleep over so dadi and i said "YES!!!!" my ultrasound appointment was on Saturday at 1:45 so i just asked if my mom could watch her the following day too. Let me tell you........ it was the most relaxing/worry free 24 hours of my life!! i would like that once a month to just regroup with dadi and have a relaxing time. so Friday night, we dropped off moma and went to eat. we went to Chevy's which is one of our favorite places to eat when we feel like being bad!!! so we drove out to Chevy's which is a little far away from our house but only about 15 minutes from my moms house. our favorite thing to eat there are the flautas with jalapeno jelly. so freakin yummy. So when we got there, we noticed that it was "el happy hour" and that appetizers were only $3.00 if you sat in the cantina. so we went in there with all the drunkards and had the best time. the flautas are an appetizer as well as a regular menu item, so we got them for only $3.00 as opposed to $9.99 for the meal we would have ordered in the regular seating area. i know this might sound lame to some of you, but $3.00 per person for a date night is pretty dang exciting to us!!. we gave the server a good tip since we weren't getting drunk on all the booze racking up our tab. but it still was about $12.00 less than we normally spend there. it was so fun! we were supposed to go to the movies afterwards, but we felt like going home and playing the wii instead. Saturday morning, i got to sleep in until 9:30!! then we went to ihop for breakfast but they were way too crowded so we ended up getting McDonald's and then going to see the movie jumper at 11:00. it was a pretty good movie but it left things unanswered which makes me think they will do another one. i like it when movies have an ending. next was the ultrasound appointment. well.... the lady said that she "thinks" it's a boy, but she can't be sure because he wasn't giving her a good enough view of the goods. so we're pretty sure it's a boy, but i would like it to be a little more certain. i just might have to go and get one of those 3D ones just to be sure. Sunday we just went to church and we actually made it on time to sacrament meeting. it's a miracle!! church was good and my lesson went well. today i got my hair cut and my roots done. she did a really good job. she didn't want to dye my hair all over and damage it so she just dyed the roots and then put the hair dye in the shampoo and left the shampoo on for about five minutes. it worked out well and my hair looks pretty good if i do say so myself. i had her cut layers in the front and do a long bang. if it can even be called that. the bangs go all the way past my cheek bone but they can look like bangs if i want them too. i like it. I'm just hoping that dadi will like it when he gets home this afternoon. he hates bangs so I'm hoping that they are long enough to where i can fool him! my hair always looks so dumb when it's in a ponytail and now with my "almost" bangs it looks much cuter and more stylish. I'm a sexy beast.
