Baby Registry & Other Stuff

Hey there... Well this week has been kind of crazy. On Wednesday i took moma to her two year check up and the doctor had to give her one more vaccination. It wasn't too fun for her. they wanted to put it in her arm but the last time, she had such a horrible reaction they said that she should have it in her leg from now on. so she had to get that done and that wasn't fun for her. then we headed down to the lab where they had to draw blood for her regular physical. I also had them check for her food allergy to eggs and i should know more about it once the results come in. egg allergy is such a pain. i sure hope she grows out of it. so that part of the day wasn't very fun. I don't like people poking at my kid even though i know they have to do it. after that, we went to babies "r" us and i registered. my mom and sister are having a baby shower for me on june 14th so keep that day open for those of you locals that can come. i didn't need too many things since i have a lot of stuff already that is universal so that it could work for a boy or a girl. i did register for one of those sit and stand double strollers and i hope it get it. it is universal for infant car seats so i can put the baby in there and have moma either sit or stand on the back and not have to buy a whole new infant car seat/travel system. that's cool. i also registered for a breast pump as well. i borrowed a friends last time and it was pretty much on it's last leg so i don't want to borrow it again. I'm hoping that with a new one, i can get my milk production up better than i did last time. it was so hard to keep up with such a huge baby. i did okay at first but once she hit about 2 or 3 months it became very hard for me to get any milk out. she lost weight and the doctors had me start her on formula as well as breast milk and eventually, the breast milk just dried up. it was very frustrating. i tried everything, herbal supplements, pumping five million times a day, the doctor had me on some medicine for it. nothing worked and the stress involved in trying to get my milk up made it worse. it was like the boobie faucet just turned off. anyways, those are the two things that i need the most and of course they are the most expensive. it always works that way right? i also registered at target as well. i like to give people options. dadi hasn't been feeling well. on Sunday he started having a pain in his side and it kept getting worse so on Wednesday he went to the after hours clinic at our doctors office and they took some blood and x-rays. the x-rays didn't show anything and the blood tests haven't come back yet but the doctor thinks he has an infection in his large intestine and put him on two different kinds of antibiotics. so far he hasn't felt any better so he's been taking it easy this week. we're like a couple of invalids over here. hopefully the medicine will kick in and he'll be back to normal soon. i think the blood test results will come in in a few days.
anways, that's about it. this weekend we have no plans so i think we're just going to take it easy. dadi does have an open house on saturday for a few hours though but the rest of the weekend is wide open for relaxation!! yeah!!
