Hi There. Mothers day was a lot of fun. we woke up early and headed out for my grandma's house in hemet. i was worried about the drive there. i was hoping moma would be good and that there wouldn't be any traffic and sure enough it all worked out nicely. we picked up my sister on the way and gave my mom her mothers day gift so we couldn't have to lug it to my grandma's and then have my mom lug it back to her house. i got her two big ceramic pots. she loves plants and it's always easy to get her something for her yard. then we headed out to grandma's house. the whole family was there (pretty much) and it was a fun day. moma got a little overwhelmed with all the commotion and started asking to go home about a half hour after we got there. my side of the family is all older so there weren't any kids to play with but she had fun walking around my grandma's yard and picking up rocks. everyone was commenting on how big my belly is and surprised when i said i had over two more months to go. my grandma asked me if i was "going to make it?" i told her i wasn't quite sure. so we had a nice lunch and just visited with everyone. then we headed back home. moma was so tired. it was way past her nap time and i was scared she was going to scream the whole way home, but she fell asleep pretty quickly. the funniest thing was while she was falling asleep i was watching her in the vanity mirror. her eyes were closed and she looked like she was asleep, but she was busy taking her shoes off. her head kept nodding up and down and she was trying so hard to get those shoes off before she fell all the way asleep. it was so cute. she only slept for about a half hour but luckily traffic wasn't bad and she never got fussy so the ride home was pleasant. the day was pretty good but while i was putting moma down for the night, i noticed she was burning up so i took her temperature. it was 102.3 and so i stuck her in the tub and gave her some Tylenol to bring it down. after that, she wanted to go to bed so i put her down and then i was going to check on her in a couple of hours to see how her fever was doing. about an hour and half later, we heard crying and so i ran up to see what was wrong. i figured she was sick. when i went into her room, she was soaking wet with sweat and shaking. it really freaked me out. so i grabbed her and took her down stairs (carrying her- which I'm not supposed to do but i was being a concerned mother so nothing else mattered). i took off her soaked clothes and took her temperature again. i think her fever broke and that's why she was all sweaty. she no longer had a fever, but i did notice a big bite on her arm like from a spider or something. it was pretty big and red. i was worried she was having a reaction. i wasn't sure what to do. i thought maybe we would need to take her to the hospital. i sat her on the couch with me and we just relaxed. her shaking stopped pretty quickly and her fever never came back. she was up until almost 11:00 with us. i wanted to make sure she was okay so i was asking her questions and stuff. eventually, she asked me for some fruit snacks and chips so i knew she was okay. she wouldn't be eating if she wasn't feeling good. so after the fruit snacks and chips (my kids will get whatever they want if they're sick) i put her back down to bed and this morning she woke up just fine with no fever or anything. I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the spider bite or if it was something else. i talked to my mom today and she was up all night with the stomach flu so I'm a little worried that it might have something to do with that. i sure hope she doesn't get the stomach flu. it's not fun!!
anyways, this morning, my cousin came over and i taught her to make some chocolate suckers she needed for a baby shower this coming weekend. we went to the store and picked out the molds and came home and made a few so she could get the hang of it. it was a lot of fun. during this my doctor called to give me the test results for gestational diabetes and i do NOT have it. yeah!!! i guess only one of the tests came back high and you have to have at least 2 come back abnormal to determine if you have it. I'm just so glad that's over. sitting in a doctors office and being poked every hour for four hours is not fun at all!! so I'm just glad that i don't have it. it's a relief. that's it for today. I'm just picking up the house and i might start making the bumper pads tonight for the babies crib once the girly falls asleep. dadi isn't going to be home until late. his friend is here visiting so the old gang from high school is going to get together and visit and play music and stuff. i don't have a sitter so I'm not going to go and i really don't want to bring moma just in case she is getting sick with the flu like my mom. okay, that's it for today. bye!

i'm glad you don't have diabetes. it sucks to be pregnant and sick at the same time. I hope your last 2 months go by quickly. glad you had a good mothers day. give kisses to moma for me.
Congrats on the test results. That must be a huge relief. Happy Mother'sa Day (yes late)! I hope Moma feels better.
