Our computer has been acting up again and it's very frustrating considering we just got a new hard drive a few months ago. a friend from church is going to help us with it soon. it's all messed up.
So yesterday after momas nap, she decided that she wanted to use the potty. she went a total of 8 times in a row with no accidents. it was awesome. then this morning, she continued to go and even pooped. the funny thing is that she is doing it all on her own. i' don't have to remind her or take her in to go. she just runs in there and says "it's pee pee time!" so this is the most she has used the potty so far. hopefully it sticks.
this evening, i am going to go shopping for some baby stuff that i need for his room. i have some money saved from Christmas that I'm using for it. i just need a few things for the changing table and stuff like that. I'll probably go to target and babies r us since they both have items that i want. Last night, i made two more bumper pads. it only took me an hour and half since i did it when moma was sleeping and dadi was watching the basketball game. the a/c was on so i figured that would drown out some of the sound of the sewing machine and keep moma asleep. it worked. only two more bumper pads to go and then i need to finish the quilt. I'm more concerned about the bumper pads since he will need those sooner than the quilt. i also put away the items i received from my shower. i was busy last night. sometime this week, dadi is supposed to get the car seat set up and stuff. i want moma to get used to riding in the car with it. that way i can explain to her that it's the babies seat and everything. and i would like to wash the cover and get it cleaned up before i install it. it's in good shape, but it has been in storage so I'm sure it will need to be washed and get that musty smell out of it. he is also going to bring home the bath tub as well. those are the things i will need right away. the baby swing, I'm going to hold off on since we won't need it for awhile. they say not to put them in one until 6 weeks. we didn't do that with moma though. i put her in it earlier than that and then read the instructions that said not to put them in it until 6 weeks. oops! so we're doing good. the house is somewhat clean but laundry needs to be done. if the laundry could be done and put away, i would feel better. I'm not supposed to carry the laundry so it's hard for me to remember to do it once dadi gets home and can help. i think i have about 7 loads or something ridiculous like that. if we had a one story house, i would just do it myself, but since i have to carry the clothes upstairs to our rooms, it's much harder on me. i just can't wait to have the baby and then get the hernia sugery (a couple months later) so i can be back to normal. it's been no fun having all these limitations.

Ryley was exactly Ahnika's age when she started potty training! Good luck.
