So today is "fun fact friday" and since I've forgotten the last couple of weeks, i will post a few fun facts for you to make up for my weeks without them
#1- When opossums are "playing" dead, they're actually not playing, they are passing out from sheer terror.
#2- On Average, 100 people choke to death on ball point pens each year.
#3-Only one person in 2 billion will live to be 116 or older
Alright, those are my fun facts. So on to more stuff...
On Wednesday night, moma had a fever of 102 so we gave her a bath and some Tylenol. she has been running a fever because her teeth are coming in. i can see the bottom ones way in the back but it's harder for me to get a good look at the top ones so I'm not sure exactly how many she is getting. she tells me that her teeth hurt and points to her bottom ones so i have been putting some orajel on there and giving her medicine to keep her fever down. she is in a pretty good mood and is eating and acting normal so I'm pretty sure the fever is just tooth related. Last night, dadi and i were supposed to have a date night but i wasn't really wanting to leave moma with my sister because of her temperature. when i talked with my mom earlier in the day, she said that i should go and that my sister could handle it. so we went to soup plantation and to the movies to see iron man. the movie was really good. we were going to go and see baby mama but it wasn't playing at the theater we wanted to go to, so we will have to see it another time. i love amy poehler, so i know the movie will be funny. plus, I'm pregnant so it's got extra meaning to me right now. anyways, i kept calling and checking on moma to see how her fever was and she was doing okay. then after the movie, i called my sister to check on her again and she said that moma was sleeping so i asked her to run into her room and quietly take her temperature (i do this like 5 times a night when she is sick- paranoid i guess). so she did and called me back and said that it was 102.7 so i told her to wake her up and give her a bath and some more Tylenol and we would be home soon. when we got there, moma was pretty mad at us for waking her up, but we had to get her fever down. so she laid with me for awhile in my bed after her bath. then at about 10:30, i told her it was time to go to bed since i saw that her fever was coming down. she went right to sleep in her bed. then at 11:30, i heard her crying for me, so i went in to see if she was okay. she was drenched in sweat because her fever had broken. she had a normal temperature, but she couldn't sleep in her bed because the sheets were soaked! so i took her into my bed and let her sleep there. this is kind of a big deal for a few reasons... #1- we do not let her sleep with us and never have (ever). #2- she won't fall asleep anywhere but her own bed or port-a-crib, and #3- it took her like two minutes to fall asleep in the bed with me next to her reading a book with the light on! crazy!! at about 1:00, i couldn't take it any more since i could not fall asleep with her in my bed so i went and checked her sheets and they were all dry so i took her back in there and put her in her own bed and then i finally fell asleep myself. i could not fall asleep last night- i was so miserable. sorry, but all i want to do is be naked all the time and laying in my bed. that would be perfect. of course this isn't possible for me to do 24 hours a day, but if it were, that's where i would be- NAKED. clothes are my enemy right now and so is my gigantic belly. it's so heavy and always in the way. plus i am peeing fifty times a night too so that's no fun. okay so not fifty, but i do pee like 3 times before i can even fall asleep and then 3 more times in the middle of the night. it sucks, but I'm so thirsty all the time so i either die of thirst or i pee fifty times. it's a tough choice.
Alright so that's it. today it looks like moma's fever has gone. it was only 99.5 this morning when i took it so hopefully we are over that for awhile.
i think this weekend is going to be pretty uneventful. next weekend is going to be crazy!! we have family coming to stay with us, my baby shower, our 9th anniversary, a ward activity (i think) and fathers day which i will be making a fathers day breakfast for dadi and my dad and step mom are going to come over and celebrate in the morning before we go to church. it's going to be nuts but lots of fun!!

Cool facts. We have 2 baby possums living in our ward and neither of them have played dead yet. One even came up to our back door with the blinds open and me standing there.
Clothes are the enemy.
