Weekend

So this weekend was pretty good. On Friday night we took moma over to my moms house to be babysat and then went to the angel game. We got there a little bit late in the bottom of the first inning so i was kind of bummed. i like to be there during their warm ups. Anyways, the game was kind of depressing. they weren't scoring too many runs and we got robbed on a couple of bad calls. at about 10:00, we decided to leave. i was so tired. we didn't stay for the fireworks show that they do every Friday game. we never leave the games early and i always get irritated at people that start leaving when the angels are losing but i was so tired and we still had to go back and pick up moma from my moms house that we decided to leave. i was feeling a lot of guilt about it but dadi said that i had a good excuse since i am prego. that made me feel better and i let the guilt fade away. we also got to see the fireworks on the way home from the freeway and moma got to see them too which was cool for her. she was excited even in her sleepy state. on Saturday morning, i just hung out with moma at home. we didn't do too much. dadi was recording music at his studio so it was just me and the kid for the morning. then in the late afternoon after momas nap, we headed over to my dads house for dinner. we didn't make it there last weekend because moma was going through a hard time cutting a molar so we went this weekend instead and she was in a better mood. she was very excited to see them and called them by their names right when she went in the house (papa v and sha-sha) so they got a kick out of that. she also was showing off her newly learned skills by telling them what colors the flowers were and their shirts among other things. we've been working with her on her colors for the last month or so and the last time they saw her she was just learning so they were really surprised how much she had learned since she knows all the basic colors now. (red, pink, purple, black, brown, green, blue, yellow, white and orange). we've also been working on her shapes but those are a little tougher. she knows octagon, triangle, star, heart, rhombus (diamond), and kind of knows what a circle is except she calls it "round". then she has a hard time with rectangle and square and oval. i think it's hilarious that she knows the harder shapes, but has a tough time with the easier ones. she's working on it though. so they pretty much kept saying that she was a "genius" the whole night which is hilarious because every grandparent thinks their grand kid is a genius. my parents thought i was genius too until i went to school. then they realized that i was dumb as dirt. anyways, we watched the angel game at my dads house after dinner and it went into extra innings. we kept moma up so late so we finally had to leave to take her home without watching the end of the game. when we left they were tied and so they won as we were driving home and we listened to the game on the radio. On Sunday dadi let me sleep in and took care of moma. then we went to church. it was a nice day but let me tell you I'm getting pretty tired of 11:30 church. it's so hard with a little one that still naps. she takes a shortened nap when we get home at 3:00 but it's so late that her schedule is really messed up and she has a hard time falling asleep when we put her down for the night. also, she is super grumpy during the drive home from church and whines the whole way home because she is so tired. i just wish we had 9:00 church again. it's so much better for us folks with kids. even though you have to wake up earlier and get the kids ready for church in a rush, it helps as far as naps and lunch go.
okay so that's it for the weekend. i have a doctors appointment in a couple of hours. i have like five million things to discuss with them. usually i just go in and have them check me and then I'm outta there, but this time i have so much to ask them. i have been super dizzy lately and almost fainted a few times in the past two weeks. most days, my pelvis feels like it's breaking in two and when the baby pushes on my upper tummy area, it feels like i am being stabbed. it hurts so bad, it makes me jump. i think he has actually injured me from the inside. it all started happening a couple of weeks ago so i'm just going to bring it up with the doctor. I'm the most concerned with the dizziness. i know that it's common in pregnancy to feel dizzy sometimes, but it's been happening every day so i need to talk to the doctor about it. only 5-7 more weeks to go!!! i can't wait. though i do have quite a few things to do before the kid comes. i just can't seem to find the energy to do them. i better get crackin though.

UPDATE: I had my doctors appointment this afternoon and the reason i am so dizzy all the time is because i have extremely low blood pressure. i had this with moma too, but it didn't affect me as much as it has with this one. today my blood pressure registered 60/90 so I'm barely alive (it's always this low- thanks to my mom who also has very low blood pressure). the doctor said that if i feel dizzy, i need to rub my legs and arms and temples to try and get the blood flowing quicker and if i feel like I'm going to faint, that i need to sit down immediately so that i don't fall over and hurt myself. fun stuff!! also, the pain i am having in my upper tummy when the baby pushes on it, is from my hernia. she basically said that the hernia is no longer in the same place as it used to be since I'm all stretched out so when he pushes on that one spot, he is actually pushing on the part that is torn and that's why it hurts so bad. she didn't have any other explanation so she said that's got to be it. most moms will feel uncomfortable at times when the baby pushes, but it won't hurt like it hurts me. i literally will jump and i would like to scream and possibly cry, but i usually hold it in. so yes, jaime- you guessed it. it is my hernia that is causing my pain when he pushes in there. you're so smart!!

Between you and Jaime, I've seriously started dreading the next time I get preganant! I feel so badly about all the problems you're having! Good luck with it all.
