One Week To Go!!!

That's right, only one week left til baby time! can't wait. I'm watching the clock tick. today i had my dad over to visit. he and his wife are leaving for an Alaskan cruise tomorrow and they won't be back until after the baby is born. so he wanted to see me before he left and wish me luck with everything. he will come home a couple days after i have the baby and we're going to call him while he's on the ship and give him the news when everything happens.
after his visit, i put moma down for her nap. she has a Disney princess pillowcase that i bought for her when we moved her into a big girl bed to get her excited about it. she knows who Cinderella is, but she didn't know who the other princesses were, so as i way laying her down for her nap, i told her that the one in the middle is belle and she repeats "belle" and then i told her the other one was sleeping beauty. she looks at me funny and says "stinky bootie!?" it was so funny. i had to try not to laugh because i didn't want her to think what she said was funny and start calling her pillow "stinky bootie" so told her "no... it's sleeping beauty" and then ran out of the room after putting her down so that i could crack up. dadi was in the next room and i went in and told him what had happened. it was so funny. she is just so entertaining these days.
after that, i went to the grocery store and stocked up on some items that i would need for after the baby is born. just the necessities like cereal, eggs, milk and stuff. the fridge was pretty bare since i hadn't been shopping in a while. we're low on funds so i just got the stuff we absolutely needed. nothing extra which was really hard to do since i was starving and hadn't eaten lunch yet. it's hard to shop when you're hungry.
the evening was spent just hanging out as a family. tomorrow morning, i am going to go to my moms house for a little while. we are going to walk around the mall next to her house and try and get this baby out. I'm also going to hit her up for a foot rub. i gave my mom so many foot rubs growing up that i think it's my turn!! i used to get in trouble a lot and so i was grounded most of the time. i wasn't allowed TV or radio or whatever so sometimes my mom would "bribe" me by saying "you can come and watch TV with me if you give me a foot rub!" i would almost always take her up on her offer since she would always know to save that bribe for when a show i really wanted to watch was on. so even though i got to watch a show, i was still being punished because i hated giving foot rubs. isn't that funny? now, i can't wait to do that to my kids. i wish moma could rub my feet or back right now. instead of using it as a way for her to temporarily get out of a punishment, i will just bribe her with money. i think that's better. anyways. that's all on the agenda for this weekend. just going to the mall with my mom, waiting for baby to come and going to church on Sunday.
