Wednesday & Book Review

Today was a lazy day. I felt really sick all day like i was going to throw up and i had a horrible headache. i haven't had a headaches or migraines in a while so i was a little surprised when i felt that pain behind my eye. i took some Tylenol and it didn't help much. when moma asked to go down for her nap almost 2 hours early, i was more than happy to let her have her way. usually i make her wait until about 1:00 or so. so i tried to take a nap, but i couldn't sleep because no matter which way my head was on the pillow, it would just throb. i drank lots of water and put a cold washcloth on my head. i called dadi to see what time he would be home and luckily he didn't have a busy day and could be home at about two. when he came home, moma woke up from her nap and he took her downstairs to watch nemo and then they went to the mall to look at the puppies in the pet store and walk around. i ended up falling asleep at about 2:30 and when I woke up at 4 and my headache was almost gone. i took more Tylenol and that seemed to work. my head is still in a fog and the upset stomach feeling is still there but it's not nearly as bad as it was this morning. it was a migraine. i had so many of those in my second trimester, but i think I've only had two in this last trimester. migraines are the worst.
anyways, i finished my book that i was reading called "my sisters keeper" it's about a family that has a daughter that is diagnosed with leukemia so they decide to have another baby so that the new baby can be a donor for the older sister. all during her life she is constantly giving more and more to her sister and she eventually sues her parents for medical emancipation. i really enjoyed the book. i thought it was very interesting though I'm not sure if it was the best book to read when being pregnant and emotional. when you're pregnant, you don't want to read books about sick kids. anyways, i really did enjoy the book but one bad thing is that it cussed a lot. it was weird too because usually if a book is going to use foul language, it will pretty much start out that way. with this book, it started about 100 pages in. i don't think there was a single swear word for the first 100 pages and then BAM...... "F". my friend that lent me the book warned me about it so i was prepared.
so that's it for today. i tried doing what the doctor told me to do but i don't think the baby has rolled over yet. i still feel little sharp bumps of feet and knees and stuff on the front of my belly. hopefully he will turn over for us sometime tomorrow. i just want to be able to push him out without any extra effort and i definitely don't want the doctor reaching up there trying to turn him around. dadi was born that way. my mother in law said that the doctor reached up there, grabbed his head, flipped him over and then pulled him out. no thank you!

I think you'll love the new book. Joni Hilton is hilarious!
