Fun Stuff
Not too much going on here. i have just been hanging out at home really. On Saturday, we ran some errands and went to my moms house for a BBQ to visit with my aunt and uncle so they could meet baby g. we had a really nice time visiting but stayed up way too late. it was 10:30 by the time we got home and put moma in bed. she did really well considering how late it was though. on Saturday, i felt like i was getting a sore throat and i still have it but it hasn't progressed into anything worse so far. during the night on Saturday/Sunday morning when i would wake up to feed the baby, i noticed that my boob was hurting a lot. i knew it was the start of a breast infection (mastitis- an infected milk duct). i had two of them with moma when she was first born and reading up on it, it looks like if you've had them before, you're more susceptible to getting them again when you have more children. you have to get antibiotics in order to clear up the infection. so far it has left me feeling tired and sore and with a bad headache, but i think i caught it early enough that it won't be as bad as it was when i got the first one with moma. that wasn't good. i was feeling really badly then. so this morning, i put in a call to my doctor to see if she could prescribe me some medication over the phone. i really hope she doesn't want to see me. i know what it is. i have a big red hot spot on my boob and i have all the symptoms. hopefully she will just call in the prescription. i really don't want to go in and pay for a doctors visit for her to just look at it and say "yep... it's a mastitis!" that would be frustrating. anyways, besides not feeling all that great, I'm doing good. I've started having more energy lately which is nice. i was so pooped for so long, that it's nice to have some energy again. we have family coming to stay with us which we're so excited about, so I'm just trying to do a little each day in preparation for their visit. i can't wait! dadi is doing well and so is moma. she's getting more of her back molars right now, but it looks like all four have now poked through her gums so we should be on the down hill now. she's been a little crabby lately but the last few days she's been pretty good. oh... one last story... so yesterday, dadi took moma to church and when he went to pick her up from nursery, he poked his head around the corner and saw that she was standing on the table in the middle of the room! he was like "what are you doing up there?" and one of the nursery leaders said "oh, watch... she'll jump off! she's been doing it all day". he came home and told me and i was not too happy. i really don't want a maniac child climbing and jumping off of the furniture. she's been such a daredevil lately too. all she could talk about last night was how she jumped off the table at church "all day long". i don't mind if she climbs and jumps at the park or outside, but indoors and on furniture is another story. hopefully she won't be doing any acrobatics at home any time soon. we'll see.

I would love to see her and Ryley together. THey could be crazy daredevils together. Ryley will do anything and it is a bit scary! I am amazed she hasn't had stitches yet...knock on wood.
I'm glad baby g is good. Only 23 days left until Mammoth! Yeah!
