allrecipes.com and other things i love right now

----can i just tell you how much i love this website.... http://allrecipes.com/ i just love how you can put the ingredients in that you have on hand and it will pull up all the recipes it has with those ingredients. i have used it so much lately. i love reading the reviews of the recipes submitted because it tells you any substitutions you can use or if it was good or not. i love it. i go on there all the time and look up different things to make for dinner. its so fun.
----also, have any of you tried the new gain joyful expressions laundry detergent?? i bought the mango one. i can't remember the exact name and I'm not going to walk out to my garage to see what it is. it smells so yummy. i love it. i just bought it at walmart for five bucks to try it out. i think i will buy the Sam's club version next time. my closet smells delicious right now from all the clean laundry in there. i swear i want to just sit in there all day and breathe in.
----i love miracle grow. i don't have a nice back yard. just a small one leading out to my garage. i have a few plants (about 12) back there in pots. the rest of my yard looks like poop because the dogs messed it up digging and pooping and peeing and stuff but the plants are the things i love about my back yard. once Jedi goes, we will work on fixing it up nicer. i love how well miracle grown works. it just makes the plants and flowers so huge. about 3 months ago, i had a grapefruit tree that we planted from a seed. it was about 4 inches high and i swear it hadn't grown in a year. i stuck some miracle grow in there and it's now a foot tall!! it's amazing. i love that stuff.
----my new cable provider at&t. it's so awesome. okay, i used to have time warner. we have two TVs in our house one in the living room and one in our bedroom. the one in our bedroom was just basic cable (no box) and the one downstairs was cable with a DVR. well, at&t just started servicing this neighborhood so we decided to give it a try. it was cheaper, but had way more functions that time warner. we have like 10 cartoon channels now including 4 nick channels and 2 Disney. we have so many channels that are actually useful now, it's crazy. the DVR we have downstairs also works for any TV in the house so we can record a bunch of shows on it and i can snuggle in bed and watch them while mister studly watches football downstairs and i can fast forward through all the commercials. it's so wonderful. if you live around here, i recommend trying at&t out. it's cheaper and better. we have Internet and TV with them. also, if you don't have a DVR or tivo, you should get it. it's awesome. i can't live without it anymore. once you have a taste of watching shows without commercials, you can't go back. we never watch anything unless it's taped. it's the best invention ever. forget curing illness... just make better DVR's!!!
----i am in love with the moms in my ward for the park day they have on Fridays. I've been thinking about it all week. I'm so excited to go again this week and moma is too. so much fun! i just love my ward and it totally need to be more social. i'm such a nerd. so i'm going to be better about meeting the moms in the ward and getting to know them. people are often afraid of me because they think i'm mean. i give off a bad first impression (just ask my BFF vanessa- she hated me when we first met and now we're BFF's).

okay, that's all the fun new things i can't think of right now. hope all is well in blogland.

I love allrecipes.com too, well I love cooking in general too! I am really glad you are enjoying the mom's in your ward. it is always nice to have relationships and feel the support of other women.
