Jon Schmidt & My Cousin

Last night we went to see a piano concert by John Schmidt. It was pretty funny. He was goofy at times which made me laugh but he was an awesome pianist. I think his gooiness was part of the show. It was cute. He played while upside down, and at one part or another with every part of his body (head, toes, etc). He didn't play with his butt though. I was really hoping for him to play with his butt, BUTT it never happened. Maybe I should write to him and ask if he would some how incorporate that into his performance. Anyways, a friend from church gave us two extra tickets so I invited my mom and sister. They had a really nice time. It worked out so perfectly because it was assigned seating and the tickets that were given to us were literally RIGHT behind our seats so we still got to sit with them. Perfect! Today I walked to Walmart. I need the exercise. I had to get some Epsom salts for Moma to soak in as per doctors orders, but she is doing great and seriously having no issues. I also had to get some ribbon and stuff for a party I'm going to tonight. My "cousin" invited me to a bow party with the girls from her ward. I'm excited. I'll have to take the camera and post some pictures of our fun stuff we make.

On a sad note, my cousin Jill had a stroke. She is 40 years old. She has been very sick recently with the flu but was refusing to go to the doctor. She ended up not being able to urinate for two days or stand up without fainting. They finally called 911 and she went to the hospital when the noticed her left side was not working. She had a stroke and has lost movement in the left side of her body. They are doing more tests and stuff so I will know more later. She also broke her collar bone during one of the times she fainted. Anyways, please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery. The doctors were pretty upset that she was not seen sooner (as am I, but that's a whole other story). I'm just hoping they can help her to get better soon.

What is a bow party? Can't wait to see pictures. So glad your little girl is doing better and as for your cousin, I sure hope she makes a full recovery!!
