My Favorites

I have some websites that I like to look at every once and while. They're either really cool or funny or I get information from them. So here they are in no particular order....

http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ Cakewrecks is super funny. I love cake decorating and wish I were better at it. My dream is to be a professional cake decorator and own my own shop like ACE of Cakes. I watch all the TV shows and challenges about cake decorating and I envy all the beautiful work they do. They make it look so easy. Cake wrecks is a bunch of pictures that people submit about "professional" cakes that are...well.. wrecks. It's really funny to think that people actually would put something out like that to be sold to people. I can do better than most of the wrecks seen on there and I'm not a professional so maybe there's hope for me after all!

http://bakerella.blogspot.com/ Ahhh... bakerella. So super jealous of your mad baking skills. Everything she makes is totally adorable and I love her step by step instructions. I also love making candy and chocolate molds, etc. So seeing how she makes things with her step by step instructions is really cool. I wish I had the money to make special treats for everyone as cute as hers.

http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ Love this site. The title says it all. 365 days of crock potting. Her goal was to make something in the crock pot every day for the year of 2008 and she finished it! She made anything from whole chickens, to yogurt, to candles!!! Yes, candles!!! I have used my crock pot so much more since finding her site. I love it. It's so fun! I used to think crock pots were for pot roasts. Boy was I wrong!!

http://brooklynsbows.blogspot.com/ Love this site for making cute little bows and suck for little girlie's. She hasn't updated in awhile but I love her site. It's just so cute and again, step by step instructions (with pictures!!) Awesome!!

http://myfoodstoragedeals.blogspot.com/ Love this girls blog about food storage. She says "it's not you grandma's food storage!" I am completely jealous of her basement full of food. It's so awesome. It's like a grocery store!! I love how she also posts recipes with pictures of things she cooks from her food storage. It's a really fun site and I've gotten a lot of good information from it.

http://wordcandyvinyl.blogspot.com/ This is a vinyl lettering site. I have had her make me some vinyl lettering for my son's nursery and I loved it. She did a great job and was super cheap!! She's quick too. I got it within just a few days of ordering. of course it took me three months to actually put it on the wall but whatever! Her prices are great and I love checking her site again and again for new ideas. I love to dream of decorating my home all cutesy. Of course, I don't own a big home and I'm not rich but it's fun to dream.....

Anyways, those a re few of my favorite sites that I like checking out every so often. Some of them, I'm sure you've heard about but I thought I would post them anyways. So fun!!

My sister Karen is doing a 365 days of crockpot experiment. She has a blog called www.365daysofcrockpot.blogspot.com and she has been featured on the news in Utah 3 times and a radio show now wants her to come and do a visit. At the end of it all she wants to publish a book. It's kind of fun to look at.
