A Sweet Family

Today I was dying to get out of the house. The kids have been sick and today we were fever free so I headed out to the mall. The moms group from church had a fun play date today but I didn't think the kids were quite up for a day in the sun. So I headed to the mall to get a few things and also grab a bite to eat at the food court. While I was sitting there eating, I noticed Baby G checking out the little girl at the table next to us. I noticed she was drawing something and kept looking up at baby G so I asked her if she was drawing him. She said yes. I said "Oh, that's awesome!!" She then showed me a picture that she drew of her dad and she had done a great job. It totally looked like him! So I ate slowly while she was over at her table just sketching away. After awhile, She presented me with this drawing......
I asked how old she was and she told me she was ten years old. I said that she did a great job and thanked her for the picture. She was so cute! It totally made my day. Anyways, she did a pretty good job huh??
I can see the resemblance.
Her mom then came over and presented Moma with a balloon hat. You know those hats made out of those long skinny balloons? They had just bought a bunch of those balloons and she was making funny things for her kids. Anyways, we had a very entertaining lunch. I'm so glad we got out of the house and that we happened to sit next to such a fun family. So cute!

That is a fun adventure! What a memory and such an adorable little girl. I bet that made you day. It would have mine. Maybe she'll be a famous artist some day and you can say you got one of her first sketches!
