Well... Mister Studly comes home tomorrow. I'm so happy!!! I know I like to pretend that I'm this super awesome wife and mother and that I can do anything because I'm so freaking awesome (which I am) BUT....... This month has been rough. Mister Studly was gone for a week at the beginning of the month when he took a trip to Canada with his best friend. I had to watch the shop during that time and it was hard to do with the kids in tow. I was happy for my cute, studly husband, but not so happy for me at times. Then he came home for 10 days and left again to visit his brother in Virginia. When he originally planned these trips he didn't realize how close they were together. this week has been hard. I have been feeling really yucky. Just sick and tired because I can't sleep when he's gone. I only had to watch the shop two days this time because his business partner came down and watched it this week. But it just seems like everything has been going crappy. Baby G is teething and really clingy and poops five hundred times a day. Moma is an insane maniac because she acts out when her dad is gone. And I just don't feel good on top of it all. There have been lots of headaches for me this week. On Thursday I had to watch the shop and everything that could go wrong went wrong. Then I had a meeting that night for church. On Friday I watched the shop again, then went to the Angel game with my mom and sister and the kids. We didn't get to stay for very long because Moma kept kicking the poor girl in front of us and had a melt down. Then Baby G threw a Rally Monkey at the poor girl in front of us after Moma had been kicking her and I think I only got to waatch about two seconds of the game so I just said forget it after the 7th inning. Sunday was church. I woke up with a massive migraine and decided to skip church but I remembered after church had started that I had a flyer that had to be passes out so I had to get everyone ready and go anyways. I made it for the last half. Monday and Tuesday I just stayed home not feeling well. When Mister Studly isn't here, I can't sleep and lack of sleep is a trigger for my migraines. Then today, I made plans to go to Disneyland with my cousin. I was really excited to do this. I hadn't seen her in awhile and Moma had been asking about her son all the time. So I get ready to leave and I check my wallet for the annual passes. Moma's is missing. I check all around the house for it and dig through my purse to see if it's fallen out. It's nowhere to be found. I call my sister because she is the last person to have taken Moma to D-land but she says she gave it back to me. So then I thought that maybe I had accidentally thrown it out when I cleaned out my purse the other day. I go outside and start digging through the trash. It's totally disgusting and makes me want to barf. While I'm in a fit of gagging, baby G falls off the deck, bonks his head (for the 4th time this week which is a whole other story in itself) and is crying hysterically. I calm him down, call my sister again and she says she thinks she left it on my table that day she came back with Moma from D-land. I remember that I had cleaned the table off right after she left. So I don't know what happened to it. I decide that I'm just going to have to pay for a duplicate pass for her and make like a baby and head out. I get to D-land super late and we only get to hang out with our cousins for about 45 minutes before they need to leave. We had a fun day at D-land but I'm pretty tired now. I just can't wait for Mister Studly to be home. I need a break. I think on Friday after he gets off work, I'm going to just take off and go do something by myself for a few hours. Maybe go see a movie or get a foot massage (or both) I don't know. But I'm glad he's coming home tomorrow and that he isn't leaving again any time soon. I'm over it.
Oh.... and the reason Baby G keeps falling and bonking his head (this is my own personal theory) is because he has a GIGANTIC head. Seriously. He is super short with a GIGANTIC head. So he's top heavy. At his last appointment, he was only 27th percentile for height (WTH?) and well off the charts for 100th percentile for his head. So I don't know what I'm going to do with this kid. He falls and bonks his head almost every day. He currently has 3 bruises on his head from falling. It's just that he's still wobbly from learning to walk, then he has this GIGANTIC head he has to carry around and if he starts to lose his balance, the first thing that hits the floor is his GIGANTIC head. It's very frustrating. I'm going to wrap him in bubble wrap and make him wear a helmet.
