We had a water balloon fight in the back yard when it was 97 degrees outside.
I'm going to have to get used to this heat!!!
All the kids got in on the action. G just liked to take them out of the basket and throw them onto the ground.
Then we had the broken finger incident and a trip to the ER
And the next day... a possibly broken toe. This picture doesn't show how bad the bruising is. It's gross.
I don't have a picture of this but on the 3rd we attempted to go watch fireworks. It was a complete and total mad house and we had to park about a mile from where we were supposed to meet up with family with about 3 minutes till the show started and a girl with a hurt foot begging me to go home so she could sleep. So I said "forget this!!!" and went and parked at the mall instead to watch them. We were pretty far away but we still had a nice time sitting in the car watching them. It doesn't get dark until so late here. It was 10:00 before the show even started and Moma was pooped!
On Sunday we made a nice dinner. My brother in law with the goofy face grilled us up some yummy rib eye's.
I made this cake. Ir's only 3 points on Weight Watchers and you can see the recipe on my Craft Blog
And I also made some clips for my sister for her to decorate her classroom. She got a teaching job and starts work this fall.
I made extras to sell on my Etsy Shop but haven't put them up yet. Soon though.
And that's it for last week. This week we have all sorts of projects to work on. It's hard because I wanted to go to the park and the canyon and go to this super fun pool/water park they have here but with Moma breaking her dang finger, it's put a damper on things. I don't want her to play too hard and hurt it and she has a bad burn portion on her finger as well that is an open wound so I can't take her swimming just yet. I've been making lots of random little trips to the store just to get the kids out of the house for awhile.
Next week, I will be in Cali for G's birthday. My mom is flying us out there so she can see her grandson turn 2 years old (plus I get to see Mister Studly!!) I have a doctors appointment with Moma's pediatrician on the 15th so hopefully after that appointment we can see how her finger is healing and find out when we can get rid of the dang splint. I HATE having to keep her finger wrapped. We change the bandages every day and she screams and screams. It's horrible. It doesn't even hurt her. She's just scared it "might" hurt so she likes to scream and cry and drive me crazy. One time, I hadn't even touched her for five minutes and she was just screaming "No! No! No!" the whole time with me standing three feet away just staring at her. She's insane! Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the girl but when she acts like that it makes it really hard for me to tell when she really is in pain vs her just scared and freaking out. People probably think I'm torturing her when all it is is me needing to take the bandaid off. Ugh! And believe me.... I know it's not hurting her because she falls on it like 4 times a day and never complains. Only when I'm about to take the bandage off.
Tonight we are off to the carnival. Not sure how I'm going to be doing weight watchers with five thousand fried things staring me in the face just begging me to eat them but I'm going to attempt it.
Wish me luck.

Can you believe our babies are going to be 2? I'm a little sad, but trying to be positive.
