A new post

Well, I've been busy this week so I've been neglecting my blog, but I'm here to let you know what I've been up to. i have a lot of pictures to post, but i need to upload them on to the computer first so that will have to be some other time. okay, Friday i didn't do too much, just picked up the house and stuff to get ready for my in laws to visit. they arrived Saturday afternoon and we just hung out all night with them. they are getting a kick out of moma. Sunday, we woke up and went to church. it was fast and testimony meeting. this is the meeting where anyone can get up and speak instead of the normal meetings where we have assigned speakers. I knew it was going to be an emotional meeting since it was the first Sunday following the death of our bishops daughter. Her mother got up and spoke first. She did so well and we were all in tears listening to her testimony. she did so well and did not break down. She said that she wasn't going to allow herself to get angry. She doesn't want Satan to have the satisfaction of that. She said that this has been a hard time, but it has strengthened her testimony. two of her daughters got up and bore their testimonies as well and they did an excellent job. One of the girls to speak is in my class and i was so proud of her. her younger sister who is 12 got up to speak as well and she did a great job. Her best friend, Becca, also bore her testimony and she did so well. when moma saw Becca approach the stand, she started yelling her name and i was so embarrassed. here it was this very emotional moment and here's my kid yelling "Becca!! Becca!! Becca!!" Afterwards, moma had to go and sit with her. She just loves Becca. So Sunday was a very emotional day. The funeral is this Friday and dadi and i will attend that with our friends. Monday was dadi's 33rd birthday. I woke up early and made him his favorite blueberry pancakes and some bacon. I fed the rest of the family that too!! then he went off to work. During the day, i went shopping to get him a little something so he could open it that night. our birthday gifts this year is the hawaii trip so we're not getting each other much else. we went to yen chings our favorite restaurant for dinner and the food was so yummy!! their sizzling rice soup is delicious. We came home and ate the cake i had made and he opened presents. Today, i had a doctors appointment and i love my new doctor. she's a crack up and super helpful. my new insurance is dumb though and it took the girls at the front desk about a half hour to verify it. we finally figured out the problem and i got in to see the doctor. tonight we just hung out with the family and watched moma poop on the floor!! yes, poop on the floor. she was getting a little bit of a red bum so i let her run around without the diaper on for awhile. she was standing on the stairs and i saw a funny look on her face so i knew what was about to happen. i couldn't do anything in time and it went on the floor. luckily it wasn't bad. the joys of motherhood! at least she didn't poop on me. tomorrow is her fun with foods class and it should be good. we have to pick up a fake pumpkin tomorrow morning before the class so she can paint it. Thursday we are going to Disneyland and Friday we have the funeral. then Saturday we leave for our trip. Not sure if i will be able to post anything else until after we get back from our trip but I'm sure that post will be full of fun and exciting pictures and stories from our trip. okay... that's it talk to you all soon and can i just say ALOHA!!!!!

Ooh! I want a cute little sign that says like "Mahalo for taking off your shoes" or "we do it hawaiian style leave your shoes at the door". Something cute like that. Mahalo!
