hey

yesterday we took a family drive up to thanksgiving point and walked around. it was super cold so it didn't last long. they opened up a new store called cabella's across the way and so we went to that to check it out. it's like a huge sporting goods store and it has a big aquarium with HUGE trout and other fish in it. moma loved it and tried to kiss one of the smaller fish through the glass of the tank. when i had her try to kiss a bigger uglier fish, she wanted no part of it and tried to wiggle out of my arms. it was funny. they have a lot of different types of animals that have been taxidermied and they are on display with information regarding what type of animal it is. it was kind of morbid, but moma liked to see all of the different types of animals. they had everything from deer and squirrels to polar bears and wart hogs. after that we drove out to eagle mountain to take a look at some houses out there and to get an idea of how much the area has grown since we looked at it a few years ago. we aren't moving out here any time soon, but we like to look. after that we took moma back to the house and dropped her off and went out on a date just dadi and me. it was nice. we went to dinner and then to the mall and walked around. after that, we drove up to squaw peak. it is an overlook that the kids go to to make out. i have always wanted to go and make out at one of those overlooks. it was beautiful and we had "fun". ha ha. anyways, i know that's T.M.I., but i felt like a teenager for awhile. so today we're just laying low and then tonight we are going to see dadi's aunt Renee sing in her choir. it's a choir of over 300 people and they are preforming at the tabernacle. i have never been to the tabernacle before so i am excited to go. they are going to be singing Christmas music which is against the rules for us (no Christmas music until after thanksgiving) but since it's only a few days early, we're going to enjoy it. the only bummer will be the drive up to salt lake right during rush hour. the traffic isn't as bad as so cal, but it's still not fun. anyways, that's it. have a great thanksgiving!!
