a new post

hey there. so i need to post what we've been up to since it's been too long. I'll post what we did over the weekend. Friday night we dropped moma off at a friends house and went to dinner at the Mongolian BBQ and then to see enchanted. it was so cute. i loved it. usually, i am not big on Disney movies, but it was really cute. our babysitter friends took her along with them to their ward Christmas party and i guess moma ate and ate and ate. she had a whole piece of prime rib all by herself!! what?? i swear i feed her! Saturday we hung out in the morning and dadi let me sleep in and took care of moma. so nice! then in the afternoon, we headed out to our cousins 2 year old b-day party. it was freezing at the park, but we still had a nice time visiting with family. we decorated Christmas cookies and had cake. after that, we came home for about an hour and then headed out to our ward Christmas party. it was a fun night though there wasn't enough food. i didn't know it was a potluck, so i didn't bring anything and i know a lot of other people came in empty handed as well. oh well. Santa came and had the kids sit on his lap and he gave them goodie bags. i knew moma wouldn't want to sit on his lap because she's a chicken so i just told the bishop to get the camera ready and threw her into Santa's arms. we took the picture and of course, she was starting to scream. it was funny. then, after Santa left, moma was walking around the whole room asking everyone that crossed her path "where's Santa" where'd he go" it was so cute. This morning, we didn't make it to church. usually moma wakes up at about 7:15 or so and it gives me plenty of time to shower and get her and myself ready and out the door, but she didn't wake up until 8:30 this morning (asking where Santa was again) so we were super late. church starts at 9:00. i did go to teach my lesson, but i didn't end up getting to teach it at all. they were busy taking care of some church business regarding the new class presidencies, so i was there for that, but by the time everything was done, there was only five minutes left and i just decided to save my lesson for the following week. it will be nice to not have to prepare a lesson this week. i can just relax. Anyway, that's about it.
