A couple things...

Just wanted to share a couple of things..... #1- I'm pregnant!! i am 13 weeks along today and i was able to hear the heart beat at my doctors appointment on Friday. we're really excited and due at the end of July. That is why I've been so sick recently. I'm much sicker with this one than with moma. I'm hoping it passes soon. it lasted 17 weeks with moma, so i just keep hoping that it doesn't go beyond the 17 weeks. only four weeks to go! i feel awful for those women that spend there whole pregnancy feeling this way. i feel like I'm losing my mind sometimes because i can't get the things i want done and i just want to sit and veg all day and try not to throw up! i'm worthless right now.
anyways, the second thing i wanted to share is that my lovely little daughter that isn't even two years old yet, locked me out of the house on Friday. i went out to my front porch and i was watering the plants. she was inside the house and playing with me while i was watering. I bent down for just a second to turn the water off (which is right next to the door) and i heard the door shut, so i turned around and went to open it to come inside, but it wouldn't budge. i tried again and i even thought that maybe dadi had come home and was playing a joke on me. NOPE! moma was inside the house and i was outside and i had no way of getting in. it was a little stressful to say the least. luckily, i had just opened the blinds in the front window to let some light in and i was able to see her and talk with her through the window. unfortunately, the window was shut and locked, but i was so thankful that i at least could see her through the blinds. So i tried knocking on my neighbors door to have them help me out so i could maybe hop the fence into the back yard or use their phone, but they weren't home. they are ALWAYS home, so of course the one time i really need them, they're not there. my sister was on her way over to babysit my little monster and she has a key to the front door. i wasn't sure how much longer it would be for her to get there, so i just stayed by the window and made sure moma was being good. she just sat and watched Dora and talked with me for about 10 minutes. when my sister drove up, i ran to her car and said "give me your keys!!! moma's in the house!!!" she laughed at me and thought it was the funniest thing ever. i got in the house and everything worked out just fine. but it was a very stressful 10 minutes, I'll tell you that!! i will never water my front yard again without my cell phone and keys in my pocket. oh, and she actually locked the dead bolt on me which i didn't even think she was tall enough to reach. she's a tall and quick little stinker!!
it will be a good story to tell her when she gets older.

I'm so excited that you're pregnant! That's wonderful! Funny story about the watering at the same time I know how helpless you must have felt. I's happened to me a couple of times!

Congratulations on the pregnancy!! Are you hoping for a boy or girl?
My niece locked my sister out one time and just stood there and laughed at her because she knew what she was doing. There's a stinker for you!!

Oh my gosh, that is so funny about Moma! I am always afraid that will happen to me. I guess I could always climb through the doggie door. :)
