traumatic experience
So moma had to go to the doctors today and they needed to draw some blood from her. it was such a traumatic experience. first, they couldn't find a vein in her left arm and the had to dig around a little bit for it. The nurse said that her vein kept moving. Moma was totally freaking out and i was having a really hard time myself. Then, he asked another nurse to help him out so she came over and tried in the same arm with no luck. then, they took the needle out of her arm and tried the other arm. by this time, she is REALLY freaking out and I'm feeling a little sick to my stomach. they had to dig around again for about twice as long as the first arm but they finally found the vein. the nurse apologized and said that moma was going to have some bad bruising and to ice it when we got home. they gave her two stickers but she still kept on crying until we got out to the car. she was saying "owie... owie..." it was so sad. it made my want to cry and i had to try so hard to keep it together. when they were doing it she was crying "mommy, mommy, mommy" but since there was nothing i could do for her, she started crying "daddy, daddy, daddy" he wasn't even at the appointment with us, so that part was pretty sad. Anyways, she is feeling better now but when she looks at her arm, she starts to fake cry and say "owie" it's really cute. when i was little and would have to get shots or blood drawn, my mom would treat me to McDonald's afterwards for a happy meal. I just had to swing by the drive thru and get my little girl a happy meal. She was very excited about that!! i guess I'm keeping up with the traditions. i hope she doesn't have to have blood drawn for a long time. I'm going to have nightmares about it tonight. it was awful. poor little thing.

That is so sad! Those dumb nurses.
Oh my gosh! She's so little! What a horrible experience! I'm so sorry for both of you. Hopefully she won't start freaking out every time she has to go to the doctor's!!
that's sad, why did she have to get her blood drawn?
I hate that!!! There has got to be a better way, seriously!
