We went to disneyland yesterday evening. Dadi has been wanting to get out of the house for quite a while now and since i've been so sick lately, it's been hard to do. so last night, i sucked it up and we all went out as a family to disneyland. we had a lot of fun. we didn't get to ride many things since we only had a few hours and we also ate dinner there (the corn dog castle). it was so yummy! we went on the zepyher (sp?) in california adventure and then we headed over to disneyland. we waited in line for roger rabbit, but it broke down right when we were close to the front (of course) so we got out of line. i swear that ride breaks down more than any other ride in the whole park. it's always broken down. so we headed over to this little play ground in toon town. i think it was goofy's house or something. anyways, moma went down the slide a few times and so we went and sat down so she could play by herslef and we could watch. she climbs the stairs up to the slide again and when she gets to the top, she sits down so she can scoot her bum over to the slide and go down except she sat down too close to the last step and totally fell over backwards on her head and tumbled down a few steps. it was funny. she just cried a little bit. i think she was more scared than anything. after that, we went into the "house" and she played with the piano and the pantry with the fake jelly and stuff in it. this little boy that was probably about 4 decided to run full speed and jump on the couch, well, if you've ever been in goofy's house, you know that all of the "furniture" is made out of acrylic and is hard as a rock. so he runs full speed and jumps on the couch, but his face hits the back of the couch and all you hear is "SMACK!" he started crying and his mom consoled him, but i have to tell you (i am such a horrible person) after i knew he was okay and there was no blood or anything, it took eveything in me not to start cracking up. it was just so funny because the couch looks like this big comfy thing, but it's hard!! i bet a lot of kids do that same thing. it just looks so comfy that you want to run full speed and jump on it. I had to turn away because i was afraid the mom would get mad if she saw me laughing. i'm so evil.
So after that, we went over to the roller coaster in toon town. moma is just tall enough now to ride it (and the matterhorn) so we got in line and went on it. i was afraid that she would be scared and start crying, but she did really good. the funny thing was that during the whole ride, she was just saying "all done, all done, all done" but she never cried or anything. she just wanted the ride to be all done. when we got off she said "fast" and "fun" it was really cute. we made a big deal of her being a "big girl" and riding a big girl ride so she gave us high fives. it was so cute. after that, we just headed home which was perfect timing because we were walking ahead of the parade. if we had waited just a few more minutes, we would have been trying to get out of the park right in the middle of the parade which is such a pain. any of you that go to disneyland and have tried to get around the parade know what a pain it is to do. we came home and put moma to bed and watched tv and dadi fell asleep on the couch. we were watching a scary show on sci fi about the scariest places on earth, so when i heard him snoring, i got so mad. here he is supposed to be protecting me from the ghosts and he is sleeping. what a hero he is!! sheesh!
