Hot Mama!
So i have created (in my head) a temperature gauge to explain to people what it's like to be hot and pregnant. basically when I'm not pregnant, i am perfectly comfortable with an outside temperature of 75-80 degrees. this is my perfect temperature where my body is perfectly comfortable. below 75 and I'm too cold... above 80 and I'm starting to get too hot. but when I'm pregnant, i have figured out that my body thinks it's about twenty degrees hotter than it actually is. so since it's been about 72 degrees for the last couple of days, i feel like it's 92. this is too hot!! if it were 92 degrees, i would turn my a/c on but since it's only 72, i can't reason turning it on. so that's how it goes. if you're pregnant (towards the end especially) add about 20 degrees to the actual temperature and that's how hot it feels for you. it's not fun. so many nights i wake up without any covers on because i have kicked them all off. the funny thing is that i am sleeping with a fan blowing on me and two windows open with another window in the babies room open so i get a cross breeze throughout the upstairs. dadi now sleeps downstairs on the couch for numerous reasons but one is that it's just too dang cold for him upstairs with me. the other reason is because he gets woken up too much since I'm always tossing and turning and having to pee. so that's all i wanted to share. i just wanted to let my readers that haven't had kids yet, to realize how hot your body gets. you will feel at least 15-20 degrees hotter than the actual temperature is. so invest in fans, ice packs, and light cotton clothes if your going to be pregnant during the summer months.

Seriously, it's true. It's the only time I'm hotter than Daddy.
