Okay so today i had my 36 week doctors appointment. i was right, i went over my 30 pound limit by three pounds. bummer. it could have been worse though and the doctor said that i have done really well on my weight gain so that made me feel good. i was sort of expecting a lecture so when she said "your weight gain has been good" i got kind of happy. so she made the appointment with the hospital today and i am officially scheduled to be induced on the 18th! WOOO HOOO!!! can't wait. i am one centimeter dilated and she said that she could have helped me along to a two, but didn't want to since i was only 36 weeks. she wanted to wait until his lungs were fully formed in another week. okay... now's the TOO MUCH INFORMATION part of this blog post but i want to post about it since some of my readers have been well aware of my struggles over the past couple of years. So obviously when i had moma, i was damaged pretty badly (down there). the doctors were pretty concerned with it and while i was in the hospital, i actually had other doctors and nurses coming in to "inspect" the damage. i guess they all wanted to get together and talk about my privates during their coffee breaks or something. So i was told that any complications i had would be completely healed in about 6 months. well, two years later, i am still not completely recovered. So the doctors are going to preform what they call a "mini plastic surgery" to repair me and cut away the excess scar tissue that is causing me pain and discomfort. Most women complain that they are... (how do i say this nicely...) loosey goosey down there after child birth but my problem is the opposite and it's not fun. it's pretty scary to think about them repairing that area. it took me so long to heal after moma was born and I'm scared about what this little surgery will be like. I'm actually excited about it too because it should mean that i can be "normal" again like before. I'm just glad that they can do it at the same time as my delivery and that i don't have to go in for surgery at another time.
So that's it for today. sorry about the TMI, but i wanted to post about it because what I'm experiencing isn't the norm and if i can help some one else that has similar problems after giving birth then it's a good thing. it was something that i thought i was just going to have to deal with and I'm glad that i did the research that i did and got the courage up to talk to the doctor about it.
okay, so that's it. have a good day!

Nah it isn't TMI. I am nervous but still happy for you to be able to feel normal again. A friend of mine had a problem that persisted after she had her little one and she was so happy once the doctor was able to correct it. Take care!
I totally did that getting ready thing before Jeremy and I still looked terrible with 3 chins and everything, but I'm going to try again. Daddy said oh you don't have to do your hair before the c-section since we have to be there early, and I'm like yeah I do I won't get to shower again for a few days!
I did that with Grant too! Got all ready...although no one bothered to tell me that I had mascara running down my face in any of the pictures! :-) I can't believe how big she was! You are wonder woman!
I am glad you are getting "fixed" down there. Hopefully it won't be too long of a recovery. Are they doing it right after the baby is born?
I can't believe how big moma was! That is just crazy! And it is crazy that they thought she would be an 8 pound baby.
all I have to say is that I am so glad I had a c-section, call me a wuss, i don't care, but the recovery time was great, I was vacuuming stairs 5 days after!
