Saturday

Today was a fun day. I went over to my moms house with moma this morning for some fun in the sun. by the way, it's freakin' hot here. it was 96 at my moms house. we stayed in the shade and moved an umbrella over momas little pool so she wouldn't fry. anyways, she did really good over there with her potty training and had one accident. i think it was because she was in her wet bathing suit and munching on some ice cubes. you know how that would make you have to go?? the only thing was that she kept saying she had to go and i would have to take her all the way in the house to the back where the bathroom is. after like ten times, i just decided to bring the potty outside with us. she still used it so that was good. during that time, dadi and his band mate were making a music video. it's going to be pretty hilarious so once it's edited and everything, i will post it on here. my sister helped them with the video. let me just say that they picked the hottest day of the year to make it and it involved a lot of running around in the sun. luckily no one puked or got heat stroke.
we all arrived home at about the same time and i put moma down for a nap. then dadi and i both took naps as well. it was wonderful. dadi and i haven't slept in the same bed now for a couple of months. i can't sleep and that makes him not be able to sleep so he just decided that it would be best for both of us if he slept on the couch. i miss him a ton, but i have to say, it has been much better for us both. it's temporary so that's the good thing. once I'm not waking up every five seconds to pee or tossing and turning any more, we will resume our regular loving husband and wife sleeping arrangements.
i went in to get moma after our naps and she was up and playying with one of her puzzles. i sat with her on the floor of her room and watched her work on it. she did really well so i decided that we should bring it in to dadi who was still lounging in bed so she could show him how well she can put it together. well, she was having a hard time with one of the pieces. it wouldn't go in, so i said to her "you have to turn it around and wiggle it a little bit" so she takes the puzzle piece in her hand and stands up and turns HERSELF around and then starts shaking the puzzle piece in the air. it was so funny. she sure took me literally. dadi and i were cracking up. where's a video camera when you need one?
after that, we went to sams club and the grocery store to pick up a few items. i almost fainted in sams club since it was so hot and i hadn't eaten anything in a while. i had to open up our pack of bagels while we were waiting in line and nibble on them. i also had to go to the vending machine and get a bottle of water. i should have prepared better since it's such a hot day and i hadn't had anything to eat in like 6 hours since lunch time. it wasn't very smart of me since I'm so dizzy all the time. dadi got mad at me (in a loving way).
after moma went to bed, dadi and i watched a movie from netflix. it's called "the eye" with jessica alba. it was scary but good. i love scary movies but lately i have been a total chicken so i was scared to watch it. i had to sit by dadi on the couch and this one time, i totally jumped and screamed. I never do that. i also flung my arms out and grabbed dadi which then scared the crap out of him. it was really funny and we laughed for like 5 minutes. after the movie dadi told me that i was nuts for getting so worked up and that he's never seen me like that before. i think i jumped, screamed, grabbed his leg and said "OH MY GOSH!!!" all at the same time. it was pretty ridiculous.
so that's it for today. just had a nice family day. tomorrow we have church and i have to do laundry since i didn't do any today like i was supposed to. it's getting pretty bad.
