"And The Worst Mom Of The Year Award Goes To......"

ME!!!!!!!!!

Tonight sucked!!! We were going to go to Disneyland but after thinking about how awful the crowds would be tonight, we decided against it. we thought chuck e cheeses would be fun and i had a coupon so we headed off for a fun family night! yeah right!! so we get there and not ten minutes into our playing around, moma eats it. HARD! and it's all my fault. we were playing one of those basketball games but she kept throwing the balls right into the side of the machine and the balls would bounce off and fly everywhere. so i decided to pick her up and have her stand on the game so she could reach it better. i had my arm around her and was handing her the balls. i couldn't reach one so i let her go for just a second and she fell off the machine. i tried to grab her but i couldn't get her in time. she fell and hit a poll that was next to the machine. She was crying and so i grabbed her. i felt like all eyes were on the horrible, irresponsible mother that just let her kid fall right in front of her. i took her to the table with her head buried into my shoulder. then when i got a good look at her, mister studly and i both realized at the same time, that she was bleeding. bad. everywhere. i rushed her off to the bathroom, but they didn't have any paper towels!! a nice lady collected some toilet paper for me so i could clean her up and take a good look at her injuries. she had blood covering the whole left side of her face from her chin, to her ear to her eye brow. after i got her cleaned up and calmed down, i checked out the damage. she had a cut above her eye, a bruised nose, a really fat lip/whole left side of her face, and a chipped tooth!!!! it's barely chipped but there's definitely a piece missing. i feel so awful. her gums are really bad looking. i called our cousin who has experienced his kids chipping teeth or knocking them out and he said that we should just take her to the dentist as soon as we can but that they wouldn't do anything for her at the doctors (except tell us to see a dentist) so i think my dentists office is open tomorrow even though it's Saturday. I'm going to call first thing. i feel so bad. i kept watching her and checking her out the whole night to see her swelling or whatever. she eventually said to me "mom. don't worry about me. I'm fine" i just started cracking up. she does not look fine! especially right now. the bruises are really starting to show. she has two lumps on her forehead as well. her eye is swollen, a bruise on her cheek and a fat/swollen face and lip. i feel so bad. it's totally my fault. i seriously kept thinking that if any one saw what had happened, they would have called the police on me. i just let go for a half a second but that's all it took for her to fall. i wanted to cry so bad. anyways, here' some picture of right after it happened (i took them because my sister asked me to send them to her on her cell phone via picture message so she could assess the damage.) i just feel so bad. I'm imagining what she's going to look like in the morning. i will take more pictures and post them. unless they are really bad, then i will not post them out of guilt. aso, tomorrow is that christmas party at my moms house and i just know how my family will act. they will all tease me about what happened and make me feel even worse. they're horrible like that. they all love to tease.
