First Memories
When you think back to your childhood, we all have a first memory. A lot of times it is something traumatic. I think my first memory is of falling and bonking my head hard on the cement. I am almost 100% sure i know what moma's first memory is. Every time we drive to my moms house, she has to point out exactly where mister studly had his motor cycle accident. It's really sad. She always says "This is where daddy fell on his motorcycle and was laying in the road". Every time we drive on that freeway she says it. It's been 4 months since the accident but she still remembers it. I myself also have issues with driving on that freeway. I get a little choked up when we drive next to the spot of the accident. I will have a flash back and remember what it looked like for him to be rolling down the freeway and i get this weird feeling in my chest. not sure what it is. maybe like a little panic attack? it's like my heart skips or something and i can't breathe for a second. It only lasts a second and then I'm fine and that feeling and emotions go away but it happens every time we drive there. Weird. I was just talking to mister studly the other day about how when kids are as young as moma, we do all these fun things with them and they don't remember any of it. Then we started talking about first memories and I said "I'm pretty sure i know what her first memory will be" That was a very traumatic thing for her to witness. so i think it will stick in her brain forever. It was a scary day for all of us.

I think a lot of people's first memories are of trauma. Mine was of my first night in a new house and horrible nightmares. I was 3 years old and my room turned out to be haunted!!!! Lucky me!
I know that if I had seen my husband rolling across the freeway, I too would get a mini anxiety attack when I thought about it! It seems that the older we get and the more kids we have, our husband's become even more valuable to us women. The threat of losing them, gets scarier! I have thought a lot about that this year because of what happened to Glenn.
I know my first memory is sitting on the curb hearing the fire engines coming because our car was on fire. Poor Moma, but she will be fine, especially since Dadi is okay.
