Today and Yesterday

Yesterday we had a nice day. we met cousin "k" and her son "j" and new baby "i" at the mall. I felt like a total loser because I had not seen her new baby girl yet because I have been sick and she was out of town so finally yesterday, we were able to get together and let the kids play. We met up at the mall and the kids played at the little play area they have there. they had a lot of fun. moma just loves "j". and k... i forgot to tell you this.... the night before we were meeting them, i went to check on moma before i went to bed. i tucked her in and she kind of woke up and said "is it time to go to "j's" party??" it was so funny. she was so excited to see him she was even talking about it in her sleep!! so we met them at the mall and the kids played for awhile, then we got a bite to eat. it was so nice to see them. her new little girly is so cute and teeny tiny. i miss having a new born. isn't that crazy?? most moms hate having new borns, but i love it. i miss my little boy being so little. anyways, today we met up with my friend "b" and her son "a" moma kept calling them her cousins. she thinks every little kid is her cousin. she's crazy. just because we're LDS and you have five thousand cousins doesn't mean that EVERYONE is your cousin. it's funny how at this age they don't understand the family dynamic. she's always asking if random people are my father. i say no, papa v is my father and she just doesn't get it. so we met at chuck e cheeses today and the kids had a great time playing and us girls got to visit with each other. after that, we went to mister studly's work since it's right down the street and saw him for a bit before heading home to get the kids naps. tomorrow is another day at chuck e cheese's with some girls from church (hopefully... i have no idea if any one is going to be there or not) then i have to run to the grocery store and pick up some lobster tails for my dinner on Sunday with my dad and step mom for their birthday. tomorrow afternoon, we are dropping the kids off at my moms to have a date night and celebrate valentines day a bit early. we're going to our favorite Chinese restaurant ("k" don't be jealous but i'll be eating sizzling rice soup tomorrow night!! ha ha) and then to the movies. it's a free night for us. the babysitter is free, the restaurant is free because we have a gift card and the movie is free because we have a gift card to that too. awesome!! then on Saturday, we're taking the kids to get their pictures taken together and celebrating a quiet valentines day with the kids then Sunday is church and dinner with my dad and step mom. sheesh... i got a busy weekend!
