Trying Hard

Well, we're trying hard to read the BOM in a week, but I'm sort of feeling scared it might not happen. We are reading when the kids go to bed and we are reading out loud and taking turns. Last night, we read a lot, but tonight, we are off to visit family and we're not sure what time we will be home in order to put the kids down and start reading. Also, when you read aloud, it doesn't go as fast as when you read to yourself, but we are both getting more out of it by reading aloud together so we will continue to do it. We just need to figure out how we can accomplish this goal by midnight Saturday with all of the distractions we are having this week. We've got to do it though!! As of last night, we are 1/8 of the way through. Tonight, we are going to D-land with family but as soon as we come home and put the kids to bed, we are hoping to have at least a couple hours to read. It's going to be tough. I have to stay focused though. We might have to set our alarms and wake up early the rest of the week and read for an hour before the kids wake up. Well see.
