And the toe makes two.....

Well... I'm not sure if it's broken.

I'm not taking her to the ER. First of all they would probably arrest me and suspect me of child abuse. Second they don't do anything for toes anyways except tape them together if needed. and Third after about an hour and a half she was back to normal acting fine and walking and running.

So here's what happened.... Yesterday she broke her finger. Read the previous post for those details.

Today after dinner, we were clearing the table and Moma moved a stool over but instead of just sliding it across the floor she kind of tipped it and it fell. Just for the record... I did not ask her to move the stool and I'm pretty much unsure of why she was moving it in the first place. So anyways, she tips it, it crashes and lands right on her pinky toe. She screamed like a crazy person for about 10 minutes. Her reaction was shorter than yesterday's broken finger but about 10 times louder. She shrieked like a pterodactyl (side note: I hate it when things are spelled with random letters that don't make sounds. Ugh! I just got so annoyed typing that. It should just be terodactyl. Is that so hard?? You stupid scientists had to throw in the extra letter for no good reason!! Bleh!) So after the TERODACTYL shrieking that lasted about 10 minutes, she calmed down and just took it easy on the couch for awhile. It bruised up pretty good and her toe swelled a bit. The bruising was kind of bad at first but then spread out and lightened up. I made her elevate it and ice it which didn't last very long. She's crazy! She wants to run and play all the time. It's getting old.

So here are some pictures. I had to give her a bath today so I took off the bandages on her finger and took some pics to send to Mister Studly. It's hard living apart from him. He wants to see it so I emailed them to him. Just to give you a warning the finger is kind of bloody looking so if you're weird about blood skip it. It's really not very bad but I just thought i would be nice and give a warning just in case you're squeamish about that sort of thing.

On to the pics.....

My poor baby. I'm going to wrap her in bubble wrap and put a helmet on her head tomorrow.
Do they make purple bubble wrap?? She'd love that.

I love you Cory, I'm so glad you're here, it's hard, but it's also fun, except for the getting hurt part. Geez , our kids are crazy!

I think broken toes are actually pretty common. But still, that sucks. I hope this is one thing that doesn't come in three's.
