Well.... it's been a long time but we're in the home stretch now.
The house is done and final inspections are underway. We should be in within the week. I'm so excited!!! I can hardly stand it!! Living here in this full house has been tough. Lots of dishes and sweeping and not much privacy has been really hard for about the last month. Mister Studly hurt his back and is still not doing great and that has been hard too. Add on to that my order for 1000 (1 thousand!) keychains and buying all the clay out of the entire state of Utah, I've been pretty stressed. This next week is probably going to be insane finishing up my keychain order, the final walk through on the house, moving into the new house, moving out of this house, cleaning the giant mess we have made here (we've had to rearrange furniture, etc in order to make it comfortable), finding a new washer and dryer and possibly fridge and dining table, registering our cars and getting Utah drivers licenses and insurance and all that junk. So really the "fun" is just beginning around here but at least I will be sleeping in a bed with my husband again instead of two twin beds pushed together and be able to walk around for a bit without a bra on soon.
Oh how the girls yearn to be free!!!!!
Once we're moved in, then we have to get the yard in order. The front yard just has grass so we will need to plant a tree and some flowers and bushes and stuff. The back yard is bare so we have to get some fruit trees planted and get the sprinklers in and the grass seeded. October is the perfect time around here for that sort of thing so it's important that we get it done so come Spring, it will be wonderful around here!!!
Anyways, today we went to our soon to be new ward. It was great. Lots of people already knew who we were since they have watched out house go up. Every one was super welcoming and great. The ward is huge. We were not only in the overflow, but the cultural hall as well for sacrament meeting. There were about 550 people there today and there were 5 different nurseries. I almost died when I found out they had 5 nurseries!!! 5!! That's insane! The kids did great in their classes and we actually found out that one of the little girls from Moma's preschool is in our ward which is cool. Hopefully they will become friends.
Keep us in your prayers that things will run smoothly and that Mister Studly's back can heal in time for the move. It was doing better but he hurt it again yesterday and is in pain today. Luckily the new ward has 550 people in it that can help us unload!!!
