Weekend Fun

This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday my sister came over and we finished the poster and centerpieces for my grandmas party. Saturday morning, we woke up early and headed out to hemet. We were the first ones to arrive which i was shocked about since i am always late for everything! We visited with my grandma for awhile and waited for the other family members to get there to help set up the clubhouse where we were having her party. We started setting up everything and it looked better than i thought it would so i was happy. moma wouldn't take a morning nap so we just woke her up and passed her around to all of the family while we set everything up. She enjoyed all the attention. The party was great. the food was great, the cake, everything. My grandma really enjoyed herself and we were so happy that we could do this for her. after all, you only turn 90 once and most of us don't even make it that far. Saturday night, we came home and just hung out and watched t.v. and went to bed early. i was pretty tired from the party. so i just crashed. Sunday i woke up and went to church with moma. dadi wasn't feeling very good so he stayed home. I sat next to a couple friends during sacrament meeting and they helped to take care of moma which was nice. i especially like the part when she sneezed chewed up cheerios all over my friends arm. pretty gross! funny though. we were all cracking up. my lesson went well. i taught about keeping family history records. it went pretty good even though i didn't feel very confident about it before hand. luckily, the first Sunday of each month is when they introduce the theme for the month and so that takes up some time and leaves me with little time to teach my lesson. i needed that. Sometimes the lessons are super easy and i just have a bunch of stuff to talk about and other times, i have a mental block.
The rest of Sunday was lazy we just hung out and didn't do too much.
Dadi has been busy lately with work. tonight he has band practice and i think he's going straight from work so i won't see him until late. it's okay because it gives me more time to be lazy throughout the day.
today, i am going to go to the store and get some pots because i have some plants that we used for the centerpieces for the party that i need to plant. I'm also going to take moma to the park to feed the ducks when she wakes up from her nap and I'm also going to go walking at the park for some exercise. i need a couple things from the store too so i will probably do that while i'm out as well.
tonight after she goes to sleep, I'm going to sew some fabric that i bought to make a sun dress for myself and for moma. Wednesday night, we are making skirts for a young women's activity. we picked out the fabric last week. so i just need to wash it and iron it before Wednesday then we're going to cut out of patterns and get going on them. it will probably take a few more Wednesdays to finish them. i love to sew, but i just don't have a lot of time for it nowadays. i also have a hard time starting something and not finishing it right then so if i sit down to sew, i will end up sitting there all day until i finish the thing.
Alright, that's ti for today. i still need to post some new pictures, but I'm a dork.
