This week was kind of busy. I played bunco on Tuesday night and won for the 2nd most wins. Actually there was a three way tie for the most wins but after a couple roll offs, I got some winnings. On Wednesday we went to the park as a family before dinner. On the way to the park, Mister Studly and I were arguing (nicely) about who had to walk farther to and from high school. We went to the same high school but at different times since he is 5 years older than me. So after the park, we drove to his house that he grew up in and clocked it on the speedometer to the high school we attended. Then we zeroed out the speedometer and drove back to our house (which is the house I grew up in). Mister Studly swore up and down that he had the longer trip but in the end, I won the argument. I had to walk 2.5 miles to school while he only had to walk 2.4 miles. So he can no longer say that he had it rougher than me since I had to walk a whole tenth of a mile longer than him! On Thursday me and the kids drove out to Fontana with him to make a delivery for work. There is a fun grocery store there called Winco that you can buy things in bulk for pretty good prices. The traffic was horrible and it took us forever to get there. the company he was delivering to ended up being closed for the day! What a waste of time and money!! But we still went to the grocery store and then went out for dinner in order to kill some time so traffic wouldn't be so bad on the way home. It actually was a nice family day even though we spent most of the afternoon driving in traffic. Today we are just laying low. We are going to my dad's house tomorrow for a barbecue tomorrow night to celebrate an early fathers day with him. After that we are going to my moms house to see my cousin Mo. I haven't seen him much these last few years and he's coming down for a big car show that my whole family goes to every year. So we'll stop by and visit for a bit after my dad's house.
I'll give a few updates on the kids...
Moma is doing well. Her teeth are turning grey from when she chipped her teeth a few weeks ago. I expected it but I was hoping we would get lucky and not have grey teeth this time. So now she has three grey teeth right smack in the front of her smile. The nerves are dead but it won't affect the permanent teeth (thank goodness!!!!). i just have to watch them to make sure they don't abscess and have them x-rayed every 6 months to check the root and all that junk. Other than a few grey teeth, she is doing well. She's quite accident prone though and causing me and her daddy headaches and worry. They other day she stepped on a toy plane and ripped her skin off her foot, then the day before that she jumped from three or four steps up on our stairs and fell on her bum crying. It's always something with this kid. She's becoming a maniac.
Baby G is doing great. he's getting a little bit of an attitude though. He is a perfect little mild mannered guy most of the time, but if you take a toy away or don't feed him fast enough he gets all mad and yells at you. He is starting to talk a little bit. It's kind of funny and of course only we know what he is saying. He says the usual mama dada, etc. But he also says a few other things...
All done= All Dah
Papa= Ah Pa
High Five= Ah Bah Ah Bah!! (he grabs your hand and slaps it and says "Ah Bah!!" really loud.)
his sisters name= An ka
He also says "Whoa" and "Uh Oh"
He tries to repeat everything you say but it all kind of sounds the same. It's cute. I love it. he's super fun. he's started standing up and letting go and walking along while holding on to something like a couch or whatever. He'll be walking soon. I'm kind of excited for him to start walking. I'm sick of the crawl stage.
